I advise fintech, AI, and regulated technology businesses on how to operate and scale in complex regulatory environments. Working with founders and leadership teams, I focus on regulatory strategy, licensing, and building compliant, scalable structures that can withstand scrutiny across jurisdictions.

With 15+ years of experience, my work centers on financial services regulation, governance, and risk frameworks across payments, fintech, and emerging technology models. This includes structuring licensing approaches, defining regulatory positioning, and engaging with regulators in key markets.

I am typically involved at critical points — market entry, new product launches, or periods of regulatory pressure — where legal and regulatory decisions directly shape the trajectory of the business. My approach is pragmatic and business-oriented. I turn regulatory complexity into strategic choices and enable companies to move forward with confidence.

A checklist tells you what the law says. The scan tells you what YOUR product must do — with reasoning you can show enterprise buyers. And the scan is the entry point, not the upsell: implementation, GDPR alignment, MiCA, EU entity and banking if Europe is next — with the scan fee credited toward the next stage if you continue.

Frequently asked questions

Does the EU AI Act apply to a US company with no EU office?

Yes — it applies to any company placing an AI system on the EU market or whose output is used in the EU, regardless of where it's incorporated.

Wasn't the AI Act delayed?

Partly. High-risk obligations moved to Dec 2027 / Aug 2028 — but Article 50 transparency applies from Aug 2, 2026, and several duties are already in force.

What if our product turns out to be high-risk?

Then the scan gives you the classification memo and a costed readiness roadmap to the Dec 2027 deadline — with 9–18 months of work mapped, starting early is the win.

Do you also cover GDPR?

Yes — the scan flags GDPR gaps (including the Article 27 EU-representative requirement), and we implement both stacks.

What does the scan cost?

A fixed fee, named on the 30-minute call. It's credited toward implementation if you continue.

We're pre-revenue. Is this premature?

If EU users or an EU enterprise deal are on your 6-month roadmap — no. Retrofitting compliance mid-deal costs more than mapping it early.

Fixed fee. Written plan. Aug 2 is close enough to matter.
