Enterprise customers ask for an EU counterparty. Investors ask for a clean structure. Banks ask questions nobody warned you about. Two weeks of planning answers all three.

EU subsidiary, branch or redomiciliation

Which way into Europe?

Three ways in — the plan tells you which is yours.

01

EU subsidiary

A new company owned by your existing one. The default for US and UK startups: clean for enterprise deals, investors and banking.

02

Branch

Your existing company registered locally. Lighter, but weaker for banking and procurement — and not always cheaper in practice.

03

Redomiciliation

Moving the company to the EU entirely. Rare, powerful, and only worth it in specific cap-table situations.

I advise fintech, AI, and regulated technology businesses on how to operate and scale in complex regulatory environments. Working with founders and leadership teams, I focus on regulatory strategy, licensing, and building compliant, scalable structures that can withstand scrutiny across jurisdictions.

With 15+ years of experience, my work centers on financial services regulation, governance, and risk frameworks across payments, fintech, and emerging technology models. This includes structuring licensing approaches, defining regulatory positioning, and engaging with regulators in key markets.

I am typically involved at critical points — market entry, new product launches, or periods of regulatory pressure — where legal and regulatory decisions directly shape the trajectory of the business. My approach is pragmatic and business-oriented. I turn regulatory complexity into strategic choices and enable companies to move forward with confidence.

Registering a company takes days — getting the structure, bank account and compliance right is the actual work. Plan first, commit after: if the plan makes the case, we execute it at fixed prices, with the plan fee credited toward implementation. If Europe turns out to be premature, the plan tells you that too.

Frequently asked questions

Do we have to incorporate in Luxembourg?

No. We're based here, but the plan compares jurisdictions for your case — Luxembourg, Ireland, the Netherlands, Estonia and others. The right answer depends on your customers, investors and banking profile.

Do founders need to relocate to the EU?

Usually not. Most structures work with non-resident founders; where local substance or directors are needed, the plan spells it out and prices it.

How long does the whole entry take after the plan?

Formation itself is typically weeks. Banking is the variable — which is why the plan maps your banking path before you form anything.

Can't we just use an incorporation service?

You can — for the registration step. The plan exists because the expensive mistakes happen around it: wrong jurisdiction, a structure banks won't onboard, compliance discovered mid-deal.

What does the plan cost?

A fixed fee, agreed on the 30-minute call before we start. It's credited toward implementation if you continue with us.

We already have an EU entity — is the plan still useful?

Yes — as an audit: banking alternatives, compliance gaps (GDPR Article 27, AI Act) and whether your current structure fits where the company is heading.

Two weeks from now, you’ll know exactly how to enter Europe

One call to scope it. One fixed price. A roadmap you can execute — with us or without us.
